Joyce Ann Fullbright, 67, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
She was born December 20, 1951 in Odessa, Texas to William and Stella (Smith) Overstreet.
Joyce was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated with the class of 1969 from Carl Albert High School.
She married Jimmy Fullbright on November 23, 1971 in McLoud, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2011. After marriage they started their family in Moore, OK before moving to the Shawnee/Tecumseh area and settling in the 1980’s in Tecumseh.
Joyce worked at Parkview Nursing Home as a Certified Medication Aid for many years.
She enjoyed puzzles, camping, fishing, being a jokester, arguing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Fullbright; grandchildren, Tracey and Harli Fullbright; parents, William and Stella Overstreet; and sister, Barbara Gail Hembree.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Clarissa and Gus Stevenson; 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Fullbright, Daniel and Shannon Fullbright and James Derrick and Laura Fullbright; 13 grandchildren, Kassidy Johnson, Gus Stevenson V, Franklin Stevenson, Jonnelle Fullbright, Justus Sparks, Faith Fullbright, Brandi Fullbright, Katliyn Fullbright, Paige Fullbright, Dylan Fullbright, Mason Fullbright, Sumur Watts and Devyn Fullbright; 1 great-grandson, Carter Reed Johnson; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Bill Fowler; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law Edward and Barbara Sue Overstreet and Roy and Debbie Overstreet; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marty Shirey, Full Circle Church in Shawnee officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
