Louise Hubbard, 83, of Shawnee, passed from this life Nov. 19, 2017, at her son’s home with her family by her side.
She was born Sept. 12, 1934, to Peanut and Mary Padgett in Shawnee.
Louise was raised in Shawnee and attended Shawnee Public Schools.
She married Clifford Hubbard on Aug. 18, 1950, in Seminole. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 2005.
Louise enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, reading, and helping raise her grandkids. She loved all her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clifford Hubbard, a son Clifford Lee Hubbard, her parents Louie and Mary Padgett, and sisters Evelyn Little and Shirley Lucas.
Those left to cherish her memories are son: Terry and Donna Hubbard of Shawnee; daughter: Linda and Chris Rackley of Earlsboro; granddaughter: April and Ray Walker of Shawnee; grandson: TJ and Leslie Hubbard of Shawnee; granddaughter: Dana Rackley of Earlsboro; granddaughter: Jessica and Jesse VanBrunt of Earlsboro; great-grandkids: Austin, Erika and Hayden Walker and Payton Hubbard; sister: Pat Huckabay; brothers-in-law: Roy Lucas, and Wilburn and Lavern Hubbard; sister-in-law: Joy Hubbard; and many loving friends and family.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
