Glenn R Grizzle

Glenn R. Grizzle, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Sunday, August, 14, 2022. He was 75 years old. Glenn was born on May 13, 1947, to Mauna Jean Grizzle in Tulsa, OK. He was raised by his grandparents, George and Katrina Grizzle in Holdenville, OK. He served his country for ten years in the United States Army during Vietnam. Glenn worked as a CPA at his own accounting practice for 38 years. He had a love for animals and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and photography. As a member of the Lion’s Club, he served as treasurer.

Glenn was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Katrina Grizzle and his mother and step-father, Mauna Jean and George Rippeto.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruth Leann Grizzle, daughter, Catherine Grizzle and husband Steve Moorleghen, son, Randy Grizzle and granddaughter, Kate Moorleghen.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, August 18th from 1-6 pm and on Friday, August 19th from 8am to 6pm. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 10:00 am at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Following the ceremony, Glenn will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery with military honors.
