McLoud resident Robert Caleb Howard died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, in McLoud at the age of 12. Caleb was born July 7, 1997, in Midwest City to Robert and Jennifer Howard.
He was a 7th grader at McLoud where he participated in football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. He was also a great student. He enjoyed sports, video games, watching TV, and playing with his brothers and sister.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandfather, Nolan Rittenhouse, and cousins, Brayden Konechney and Angela Phillips.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Jennifer Howard of McLoud; brothers and sister, Jacob Mauldin, Jordan Howard, Brenden Howard, Daven Howard and Rob Hill; grandparents, Robert and Nola Howard of Shawnee and Robert and Vicky Bly of Shawnee; great-grandparents, Eugene and Evelyn Howard of Anderson, Ind. and Jeanine Rittenhouse of Elwood, Ind.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the McLoud High School Gymnasium with Brad Woods, Doug Parker and Mark Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
