Graveside services for David Craft , McCloud, were held at 3 p.m. December 1, 1997 at Dale Cemetery with Pastor Dan Weaver officiating. John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel were in charge of the arrangements.
He was born April 19, 1941 and passed away November 27, 1997 at the age of 56.
David enjoyed working on cars and had been employed as a paint body shop repairman for over 30 years. In addition he enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother Tommy; and two daughters, Delila and Brenda.
His survivors include his wife, Bonnie; four sons, David Craft Jr., Charlie Campbell, Billy Ray Craft and Billy Joe Campbell; six daughters, Lona Merrick, Karla Pennington, Mary Ellis, Juanita Belt, Teresa Crim and Mary Ann Craft.
Other survivors include his sisters Dorothy Parker, Dovie Ellis, Ruby Foster, Margie Hall, Virginia Gill, Linda Craft, Billie Liles and Faye Turner; one brother, Monti Craft; 26 grandchildren ; and eight great grandchildren.
