Shirley M. Hayden, 83, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
She was born May 28, 1935 to Foy and Mattie (Page) Rimer in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Shirley was raised in the Newalla area.
She was heavily involved in the antique community for over 65 years.
Shirley loved to dance, travel, go to antique shows and spend time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn “Doc” Hayden; 1 son, Bruce Hayden; 3 brothers, R.C. Rimer, Mark Rimer and Foy Rimer; and 2 sisters, Sharon Kinnamon and Marcella Burrows.
Those left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters, Pam and Mike O’Neal of Shawnee, OK, Glenita Hayden of Round Top, TX and Lana Westrope of Oklahoma City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Autumn and Kyle Winrow, Christopher Moses Stone and Michelle, Brian Dean Barnett, Tiffany and Ryan Kinsey and Dillon Hayden; 5 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kyla, Caitlyn, Copper Doc and Zane; special friend, Don Molsbee; 1 brother, Clayton Rimer; 2 sisters, Betty Withrow and Virginia Guthrie; and many other extended family and friends.
Per Shirley's wishes no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
