Brian Phillip Chandler, 37, of Shawnee, Oklahoma went to the great fishin’ hole in Heaven, Sunday, April 15, 2018.
He was born January 18, 1981 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and raised in Spring, Texas. Brian graduated with the class of 2000 at Klein Oak High School and went on to live in Louisiana and Oklahoma.
He was a die-hard OU fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and OKC Thunder. His precious daughters, Ava and Amelia, were the shining stars in his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cheryl and Toby “Hot Shot” Sing, Bill and Arless Lyon, and Nora Chandler.
Those left to cherish his memory are his 2 beloved daughters, Amelia Chandler and Ava Chandler, both of Edmond, OK; his mother, Lea Ann (Sing) Walker of Edmond, OK; his father, Phillip Chandler of Shawnee, OK; 2 brothers, Tristan Hoke of Tecumseh, OK and Cory Chandler of Shawnee, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving extended family and many, many friends all over the world.
The family request that memorial donations be made to the Brian Phillip Chandler Memorial at Arvest Bank in lieu of flowers.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 and from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 and continue until service time. Family gathering to greet friends and family will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 23, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Wade, Trinity Chapel in Harrah, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. In honor of Brian’s love for OU Sooners and OKC Thunder, please feel free to wear appropriate attire reflecting either team at the service.
