Mike Macsas, 61, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Oklahoma City.
He was born on December 24, 1956 in Wytheville, Virginia and raised by William and Willa Mae (Littreal) Macsas.
Mike married Colleen Ann Farley on June 3, 1978.
He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 30 plus years as an aircraft mechanic. After retirement he helped with the family business.
Mike enjoyed target shooting, camping and fishing. He loved his family and friends. Mike was a wonderful husband, father and “Pawpaw”. His grandson Michael “Monster” Macsas was the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Willa Mae Macsas; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hardin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Colleen Macsas of the home; daughter, Crystal and Ian Williams of Shawnee, OK; son, William and Kristen Macsas of Seminole, OK; grandson, Michael Macsas; sister, Cindy Macsas Hardin of Shawnee, OK; 2 nieces, Jade and Savanah; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 with family gathering to greet friends and family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Sparks, Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church and Reverend Will Wilson, New Hope Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
