Services for Joye Mae (Alford) West, 87, of Ada, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dustin Hunt will officiate, and Tanner Meek will read the obituary. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. West died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at a local nursing home. She was born May 12, 1933 in Durant to Eugene and Mille Mae Johnson Alford. She graduated from Ada High School.

Mrs. West retired from working as a sales clerk. She attended Ahloso Baptist Church, and enjoyed singing, dancing, clothes shopping and attending the McSwain Theater to watch her daughter and niece perform.

Survivors include four children, Debbie Allen and husband John, Ada, Ronny Hunt and wife Vickie, Harrah, Cheryl Meek, Ada, Rhonda Tully and husband Jon, Ada; first husband and father of her children, Sam Hunt, Ada; sister, Wava Brunkow, Lawton; nine grandchildren, Misty Myers and husband Jeff, Ada, Jennifer Clark and husband Jeremy, Ada, Dustin Hunt and wife Elsa, Harrah, Brennin Hunt and wife Kelly, Oklahoma City, Mikenzi Hunt, Harrah, Tanner Meek, Tulsa, Tagus Meek and wife Shelby, Ada, Teagan Vick and husband Tadd, Ada, and Treston Tully, Ada; 14 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack West; both parents; son-in-law, Derrell Meek; two brothers, Paul Alford and Dunnie Alford; sister, Jo Stilwell; mother and father-in-law, Weltha and Sam hunt.

Bearers will be grandchildren.
