Services for Danny Mark Simpson, 67, Stonewall are 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Ada First Baptist Church, Jerry Chaddick will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday.

Mr. Simpson passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Oklahoma City. He was born September 15, 1956 in Clinton, OK to Darrell and Faye Young Simpson. He graduated high school from Friona, Texas and received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX. He worked for Conoco-Phillips for 32 years. That’s where he met the love of his life. He married RaeNell Langley on January 24, 1981. On November 11, 1984, their daughter, Abigail (Abby) was born.

He and RaeNell loved the Lord and Baptist faith and while they were members of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, TX, he became a Yolk Fellow and was an Admin Leader of the BSF program there.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven Simpson and Jeffrey Simpson, in-laws, Bob and Barbara Langley; and sister-in-law, GaeVon Jelosek.

He is survived by his wife, RaeNell, of the home; daughter, Abby and (Lindsey Holman), of Austin; sister, Tera Shuart and husband, Scott, of Edmond; sister-in-law, LaVonda Jones, of Ada; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Bearers are Luke Chaddick, Cody Lee, Dwight King, Bill Spain, Scott Shuart, and Hal Sliger.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
