Services for Wanda Jo Shores, 83, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shores passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home. She was born August 6, 1934 at Kight, OK to Roy and Bernetta Hamilton Gammons. She attended Sasakwa schools.

She married Donald Shores July 23, 1951 at Harvey, AR. Mrs. Shores was a clerk at the Village Inn in Ada for 42 years and she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Wanda loved garage sales, auctions and watching her grandkids play ball. Wanda loved being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Donald, of the home; her children, Alvin Shores, Chris Shores, Annita Ward and husband Melvin and Stanley Shores and wife Lisa, all of Ada; her grandchildren, Angela Wood and husband Brian, Jessica Shores, Lesli Barrett and husband Fred, Sarah Kennedy and husband Joe and Lindsey Edwards and husband Trey, all of Ada; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Boyce, Tulsa; brother, James Gammons and wife Judy, Sasakwa; and a sister-in-law, Sue Gammons, Wilburton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronnie Shores; five brothers, Roy, DeVern, DeRay, Max and Johnny; three sisters, Audry Jones, Eunice Smith and Betty Gammons; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel Wheat and Anna Edwards.

Bearers will be Joe Kennedy, Fred Barrett, Trey Edwards, Alvin Shores, Stanley Shores and Melvin Ward.
