Services for Charles Eugene Sanders, 90, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Sanders passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Shawnee. He was born October 18, 1931 in Ada, OK to J. E. and Ethel Bryan Sanders.

Mr. Sanders served in the Army National Guard. He married Wilma Rae Harrell, August 12, 1950.

Survivors are his wife, Wilma Sanders, of the home; one son, Bob Sanders and wife Carey, of Stonewall; two daughters, Rebecca Jantzen and husband Galen, of Allen and Anita “Joannie” Holland and husband Chuck, of Del City, OK; six brothers, Ray Lloyd Sanders, of Ada, Stanley Sanders, of Ada, Michael Sanders, of Tennessee, Gary Sanders, of Washington, Rocky Sanders, of Ada and Dewayne Sanders, of Ada; three sisters, Oleta Cushman, of Ada, Wanda Rich, of Ada and Paula Elliott, of Ada; six grandchildren, Charles Jantzen, of Enid, Raylene Moore, of Keller, TX, Brenda Brandon, of Perkins, OK, Bryan Sanders, Ashley Holland, of Ada and Chase Holland, of Wichita, KS; and 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodney Sanders; two brothers, James Sanders and Ed Sanders; three sisters, Betty Faye Landis, Arla Pontanini and Sandra Sanders.

Bearers are Charles Jantzen, Chase Holland, Drei Bernotat, Christopher Bernotat, Toby Bernotat, Kyle Brandon, and Daniel Moore.
