Services for Beverly Fern Jennings McGehee, 83, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McGehee died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at a local nursing home. She was born January 4, 1935 in Clovis, NM to Emery Leon and Artie Delia Hadley Madole.
She married Carl Gene Jennings on June 21, 1952 in Noble at the preacher’s home on his lunch hour. She later married Marshall McGehee on July 28, 1993, he preceded her in death on October 26, 2007.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Jeannine Rutherford of Ada and Diana Lynn Smith and husband Christopher of Tulsa; a son, Randy Gene Jennings and wife Wanda of Fittstown; two step-daughters, Mary Jo Whitwell of Ada and Ole Mae Morrow of Norman; two step-sons, Morris McGehee of Ada and Floyd McGehee of Norman; one sister, Dorothy Inez and husband, Jimmy Armstrong of Norman; two brothers, Jerry Dean Madole and wife Neva and Wiley Ross Madole and wife Sue, all of Norman; four grandchildren, MaRanda Lynn Horton and husband Larry of Weatherford, VaNessa Rena Rutherford of Ada, Deena LeAnn Jennings of Fittstown and Daniel Gene Jennings of Fittstown; seven great-grandchildren, Peyton Keith Horton, Nathan Scott Horton, Randy Wayne Sanders, Emery Rena Rutherford, Dylan Wayne Smith, Ryan Gene Jennings and Kayson Ryder Rutherford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gene Jennings and Marshall McGehee; an infant daughter, Laura Fern Jennings; three brothers, Hartley, Stanley and Doyle Leon Madole; a step-son, Roy McGehee; and a son-in-law, Robert Rutherford.
Bearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons and granddaughter. Honorary bearer will be Bill Montin.
