Graveside services for Oleta Choate, 80, of Oklahoma City and formerly of Ada, are at 2 p.m. Monday at Swan Hill Cemetery; the Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home .

Mrs. Choate died Friday, May 1, 2015, in Oklahoma City. She was born July 1, 1934, in Ada to Ernest and Sarah Skaggs Dew. She attended Jones Chapel grade school and graduated from Latta High School in 1952.

She married Donald Choate Nov. 25, 1954, in Ada. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 2004, in Ada. Mrs. Choate was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for 20 years, the First Baptist Church in Ada for three years and Wal-Mart for 20 years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Ada.

Survivors include a daughter, Janis Randall and her husband Clifford of Oklahoma City; her granddaughter, Jacee Randall; a brother, Oran Dew and his wife Virginia of Kingston; her cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Sarah Dew; a granddaughter, Sara Randall; one brother, Ed Dew; and a sister, Pauline Roberts.
