Martha Jean (Duty) Baker

Graveside services for Martha Jean Baker, 81, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Swan Hill Cemetery with Carl Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Baker died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in a Shawnee hospital. She was born March 16, 1933 in Pontotoc to William James and Lottie Lorene Griffin Duty. She graduated from Ada High School.

She married Reford Lee Baker on December 17, 1949 in Iowa Park, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1992. Mrs. Baker was a self-employed housekeeper and affiliated with Union Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Baker and wife Tami and Gary Baker, all of Ada; one daughter, Debbie Copeland of Ada; seven grandchildren, Stephaney, Rachael, Heather, Katy, Kassie, Kandace and Lydia; six great-grandchildren, Briana, Liviana, Casen, Micha, Jayli and Dillon; three sisters, Jesse Graham of Oklahoma City, Ok, Lois Durham of Oklahoma City, Ok and Mary Lou Garrett of Durant, Ok; two brothers, Bill Duty of Roff and Phillip Duty of Atoka, Ok.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Reford Lee Baker; two sisters and one brother.
