Services for Truman Johnson Sr., 65, of Stonewall, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Clive Cochran will officiate. Wake service will be Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Criswell Chapel. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Chickasaw Nation Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born May 16, 1954 in Stonewall, OK to Joe M. and Brazelia Cochran Johnson. He graduated from Tupelo High School in 1972 and later attended Murray State College.
Mr. Johnson worked at the Rural Water District 7, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leader. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and telling jokes.
Survivors include his sons, Truman Johnson II and wife Duwana of Keller, TX and Chris Johnson and wife Dawneve of Allen, Ok; his brother, Arvell Johnson of Stonewall, Ok; two sisters, Lula Fern Johnson Pitts and husband Walter of Stonewall, OK and Marvia Johnson of Allen, Ok; granddaughters Kaitlin Johnson and Kelsea Johnson of Keller, TX, and Hannah Johnson and Julie Johnson of Allen, Ok; a grandson, Jase Johnson of Allen, OK; a nephew, Timothy Johnson of Allen, Ok; and many other relatives and friends.
