Services for David Alden Johnson, 77, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at an Ada hospital. He was born September 22, 1946 in Garvin County, Oklahoma to Earnest and Marian Meely Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a truck driver for Treat’s Janitorial Services until his retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Kerry Johnson and wife Tawahnah of Ada and Jerry Johnson and wife Erin of Ada; two daughters, Paula Caldwell and husband Taylor of Stonewall and Janice Tiger and husband Derek of Ada; a sister, Martha Jane Cordell of Ada; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; his parents, Marian and Earnest Johnson; two daughters, Sherry Johnson and Rita Rios; a brother, Earnest Johnson, Jr.; and sister, Nelda Gipson.
Bearers will be Cameron Johnson, Derek Tiger, Virgil Walker, Taylor Caldwell, Kerry Johnson and Jerry Johnson. Honorary bearers will be Khailen Johnson, Derek Colungo, Jalen Johnson, Matt McDonald and David Rios.
