Services for Eric Todd Caballero, 21, of Ada, OK will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery.
Eric gained his wings early Saturday morning on October 1, 2022 in Ada, OK. He was born December 4, 2000 in Oklahoma City to Samantha Elaine Johns and Jessie Caballero.
Eric was a fun-loving big boy who loved to play basketball. He was an all-star football player when he was younger. Eric loved working on his motorcycle and trucks. He was pretty hands on when it came to fixing them. He loved to interact with family and friends and was a very skilled construction worker. He had a lot of potential in everything he did. Eric’s smile and good manners will always be remembered.
He is survived by his mother, Samantha Johns; father, Brian Wetselline; sister, Claudia Caballero and her two daughters, Valarie and Bella Erics, of OKC; his nieces that he loved very much; two brothers, Camino Lee Caballero, of OKC and Taylor Davis, of Ada; five aunts, Quenna Harris and husband Andrew, of Ada, Deanna Phillips and husband Jose Rodriguquez, Tami DeLira and Marcus Henry, of Ada, Kimberly Johns and Paul Pawpa, of OKC and Casey; four uncles, Kevin Stick and wife Angela, of Ada, Jimmie Johns, AKA Toogie, of OKC, Jonathan Johns and wife Sherry and Manuel; grandparents, Manuel and Carolyn Caballero, of Okemah; and numerous cousins, family and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Caballero; grandparents, Nellie and Jimmie Johns; great grandpa, Andy John; great aunt, Anita John and uncle, Maraethian.
Bearers are Marcus Phillips, Manuel Caballero, Ontario Johns, Daniel Phillips, Taylor Davis and Pat Jones. Honorary bearers are Glenn Parks, Merle “Moe” Stick and Daniel Vivier.
