Services for Joe David Anderson, 76, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Rev. Don Jacob will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at an Ada hospital. He was born April 4, 1936 in Stuart, Oklahoma to Walter and Maggie Huffman Anderson. He lived in this area all his life.
Mr. Anderson was a roughneck in the oilfield industry and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lillie Ann Neeley Anderson, of the home; a son, Joe David Anderson, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Paola, KS; a daughter, Sue Kraft and her husband Steve and Abilene, KS; a step-son, Roger Neeley of Bartlesville, OK; five grandchildren, Jeremy Anderson, Tisha Peasley, Heidi Karl, Wendy Kraft, and Jessica Kraft; nine great grandchildren, Aiden Anderson, Alexia Peasley, Benjamin Peasley, Blade Overturf, Kimber Kraft, Briggar Karl, Brosnar Karl, Cole Kraft and Ian Grades; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Rocky Anderson and Tom Anderson, both of Ada; and a half-brother, Johnny Randolph of Ardmore.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Davis and Ada Draughbaugh; and five brothers, Wallie Anderson, Dean Anderson, Jake Anderson, Roy Anderson and Raymond Anderson.
Bearers will be Jason Neeley, Justin Neeley, Ricky Johnson, Donivan Smith, Mike Thompson, Robert Tatum.
