Services for Howard Lee Welborn, 90, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Donna and Martin Gustin will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Welborn passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at a Norman hospital. He was born March 26, 1930 at Coalgate, Oklahoma to Howard and Lorene S. Payne Welborn.

He married Laura Cupps May 4, 1949. She preceded him in death February 5, 2017. Mr. Welborn had worked at Brockway Glass Company. He was a small engine mechanic and also owned a dump truck. Mr. Welborn was an avid hunter and fisherman and had served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include two nieces, Kim Bradley and Stacy Jarvis; a great nephew, Cody Bradley; a great-niece, Angelique Owens; brother, J. B. Owens and wife LaVoyce, Holdenville; two sisters-in-law, Lenora Lee, and Gracie Cupps, both of Ada; and a brother-in-law, Fred Cupps and wife Marleene, Edmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Leonard Owens; his wife, Laura Welborn; sister, Maxine Owens; and a brother, Leonard Owens.
