Services for Simmie Jo Stilwell, 86, of Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Ada Church of Nazarene, Revs. Jim Knight and Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Our loving mother passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at a local nursing home. She was born May 14, 1931 in Durant, OK to Ernest Eugene and Millie Mae Johnson Alford.

She married Randall “Tex” Stilwell on June 9, 1950 in Fitzhugh. Jo was a homemaker and loved her home. She was a member of the Ada Church of Nazarene.

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Tex, of the home. She was a loving mother of three daughters, Vickie Allen and husband Peary of Florida, Judy Sasseen and husband Mitchell of Ada, and Kathy Lee and husband Kent of Ada; two sisters, Wava Brunkow of Lawton, and Joye West of Ada; six grandchildren, Tracy Allen of Florida, Jered Allen of Florida, Brandon McLellan and wife Laura of Ada, Brad McLellan and wife Kristin of Ada, Nick Lee and wife Vanessa of Ada, Natalie Briggs and husband Heath of Ada; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Paul Alford and Dunne Alford.

Bearers will be grandchildren, Tracy Allen, Jered Allen, Brandon McLellan, Brad McLellan, Nick Lee, Heath Briggs and Natalie Briggs. Honorary bearers will be great-grandchildren.
