Our loving daddy left this world August 24th, 2019 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Randall Lendon Stilwell was born to John Harvey and Glennis Stilwell on September 12th, 1930 in Haskell, Texas. He moved to Ada when he was a young child and attended Ada School. As a child, he was given the nickname of “Tex” by a group of friends and would be known by that the rest of his life.

On June 9th, 1950, Tex married his sweetheart, Simmie Jo Alford. From this 67-year union, they were blessed with three daughters, six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Tex was preceded in death by his wife, Simmie Jo; his parents; sister, Barbara Bobo; brother, Harvey Stilwell, Jr.; and his son-in-law, Kent Lee.

He is survived by his daughters Vickie Allen and husband Peary, Judy Sasseen and husband Mitchell and Kathy Lee; grandchildren, Tracy Allen and fiancé Stacie Hunt, Jered Allen, Brandon McLellan and wife Laura, Brad McLellan and wife Kristin, Nick Lee and wife Vanessa and Natalie Hayes and husband Derek; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Perry and a great host of other family.

Dad will always be remembered as a loving, compassionate, understanding and gentle man. Our lives have been so enriched by Dad’s love and teachings.

Family visitation will be Thursday, August 29th from 6-8 at Criswell Funeral Home. We will honor his life on Friday, August 30th at 10:30 at Ada Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Brian Smith will preside, and his grandchildren will serve as pall bearers. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
