Services for Jerry Manville Stansbury, 71, of Corpus Christi, TX, formerly of Gainesville, TX and Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Chad Large will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Stansbury passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home in Corpus Christi. He was born September 2, 1948 at Ada to Enoch “Hugh” Stansbury and Donnie Mae Tucker Stansbury. He graduated from Sylmar High School in California.

Mr. Stansbury was an aircraft assembler for Safran Aerospace in Gainesville. He loved to golf and enjoyed football and baseball.

Survivors include his wife Peggy (Sheldon) Stansbury; a son, Dr. Christopher Stansbury, Austin, TX; three daughters, April Stansbury, Austin, Serena Stansbury, Corpus Christi and Mary Childers and her husband Winthrop, Gainesville, TX; a brother, Fred Stansbury and wife Trudy, Killeen, TX; a sister, Donna Moore, Reseda, CA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Sam Stansbury, Tommie Lynn Stansbury, John Stansbury, Eve Branscum and Renee Stansbury.

Bearers will be Stan Holle, Shawn Kirby, Fuzz Smith, Kenny Noggler, Greg Ellyett and Shane Miller.
