Services for Glen Ray Smith, 83, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Hal Rymal will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Smith died Friday, September 3, 2021 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born March 3, 1938 in the Oakman community, near Ada, to Grady and Willie Mullinax Smith. He graduated from Byng High School in 1957.

He married Lois Marie Miller September 6, 1958. She preceded him in death April 25, 2021. Mr. Smith retired in 2000 from Solo Cup Co. as a printer mechanic.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Speaks and husband Gary, Ada, Diana Hunt and husband Charles, Roff and Glenda Schmidt and husband Kent, Ada; five grandchildren, Jamie Crawford, Jessica Darnell, Chad Hunt, Amanda Riley and Tara Schmidt; and nine great-grandchildren, Amy Villiafronco, Makenzi Darnell, Clay Crawford, Kaden Darnell, Colton Hunt, Carson Hunt, Jake Crawford, Kaydee Hunt, Raley Riley and Carley Riley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Marie Smith; sister, Roxie Winters; four brothers, Bob, Harold, Jack and Hershal Smith; and one great-grandson, Gage Lee Speaks.

Bearers will be Chad Hunt, Dustin Darnell, Kaden Darnell, Colton Hunt, Cruz Villiafronco and Ed Smith. Honorary bearers will be Clay and Brent Crawford.
