Graveside services for Donald Wayne Smith, 73, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Rosedale Cemetery Pavilion, Pastor Justin Wright will officiate.

Mr. Smith died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in a Sulphur Veterans Center. He was born October 2, 1947 in Wewoka to Everett Cecil and Leta Mae Shores Smith.

He married Virginia Marilyn Huffman December 22, 1972, she preceded him in death April 23, 2005. He later married Marilyn Sue Roberts on January 1, 2006. He served in the U.S. Marines where he was decorated with the Purple Heart for his service. He retired from management with Southwestern Bell May 15, 1999, became a farmer raising black angus cattle, had a woodworking shop where he made furniture, and was a Christian pastor.

Survivors include his wife, Sue, of the home; a son, James Devin Smith, Konawa; two daughters, Donna Lee Smith, Ada and Lynn Scott, Florida; two brothers, David Smith, Texas and Tommy Smith, Stillwater; and a sister, Sherri Bowers, Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife.
