Services for Brenda Denise Smith, 60, of Ada are at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dan McGehee will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her home. She was born July 31, 1955 in Ada to Joseph Britton and LaVetta Maner Crawford. She attended Tupelo grade school and graduated from Coalgate High School. She graduated from East Central University in Ada.

She married Mike Smith December 10, 1976. Mrs. Smith was a registered nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada for several years.

Survivors include her husband Mike of the home; a daughter, Michelle Smith, Ada; three sons, Brion Smith and Corinna Linton of Ada, Patrick Smith and Mikel Smith, both of Ada; her mother, LaVetta Crawford of Ada; her grandchildren, Maddison Smith, Gage Neal, River Linton, Tyler Neal and Matthew Neal ; a brother, Glenn Crawford of Bonham, TX; and two sisters, Jeanette LaFevers and husband Gary of McAllen, TX and LaNell Theser and husband Robert of Colcord, OK.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Britton Crawford.

Bearers will be Brion Smith, Patrick Smith, Mikel Smith, Micheal Dunn, Stephen Dunn and Michael Barnes. Honorary bearers will be Glenn Crawford, Gary LaFevers, Gage Neal and Jamie Dunn.
