Services for Robert Larry Sloan, 83, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Sloan passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home. He was born December 26, 1941, in Waurika, OK to Clinton Archie and Alice Beatrice Putman Sloan.

Mr. Sloan enjoyed hunting and fishing, leather work, smoking his pipe, and collecting different items.

Survivors are his three daughters, Sonya Carpenter and husband Gary Gregg of Byng, L. Shawn Sloan of Cheyenne, OK, and Sharmin Hinson of Ada; brother, Marion Craig of Byng; son-in-law, Michael Leddy; special friend, Terri Prewitt; sister, Loretta Jane Craig of Byng; eight grandchildren, Sasha Carpenter, Shanna Ross, Cody Hinson, Tailer Hinson, Sterling Gregg, Hunter Leddy, Coda Leddy, and Michael Leddy, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Isis Sloan, Brooklynn Ross, Brighton Ross, Bentley Ross, Meadow Hinson; great great grandchild, Siyere Sloan.

Preceded by his wife, Gayle Sloan; his parents; daughter, Shawna Kay Sloan; and sister, Mary Lestus.
