Services for Roger Craig Scribner, 56, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Scribner passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at a local hospital. He was born September 26, 1960 in Stillwater to Theodore Roosevelt Scribner II and Authalene “Jot” Lucille Johnson Scribner.

He married Beth Ellen Goldsberry November 24, 1979 at Cedar Rapids, IA. Mr. Scribner was a Carpenter for the Chickasaw Nation for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Beth, of the home; his parents, Ted and Jot Scribner of Copperas Cove, TX; son, Roger Scribner Jr. and wife Jeanie; son, Christopher Scribner; and son, Andrew Scribner and wife Briana, all of Ada; a grandson, Zane Scribner of Ada; three brothers, Ted R. Scribner III and wife Tandra, Sulphur, Wayne Scribner and wife Robyn, Ada and Jeff Scribner and wife Misty, Copperas Cove, TX; a sister, Lisa Fox, Copperas Cove, TX; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angel Scribner.

Bearers will be Shawn Hurley, Cathy Hurley, Neidra Young, Michael Gould, Cody Adams and Phillip Burris Jr. Honorary bearer will be Clark May.
