Services for Earnest David Russell, 73, of Itasca, Texas, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Russell died Friday, April 24, 2015 at his home. He was born December 19, 1941 in Tulsa to David Ellwood and Stella Elizabeth Meadors Russell. He and his family lived in Oklahoma City where he graduated from high school and lived there until 1973. He then moved to the Ada area and later to Arlington, TX in 1980 and to Itasca, TX in 2002.

He married Jo Ann Robison on December 17, 1963 in Gainesville, TX. Mr. Russell was a welder, truck driver and oilfield worker. He served in the U. S. Army from 1959 until 1962. He was stationed in Germany.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Russell, of the home; son, David Russell, Itasca, TX; daughter, Michelle Russell-Baskett and husband Burney, Burleson, TX; granddaughters, Pilar Baskett, College Station, TX and Connally Baskett, Burleson, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Earl Russell, Thad Russell and Owen Russell.

Bearers will be Terry Lee, Daniel Russell Jr., Kim Thomas, Jimmy Ackerson, James Mofford, James Russell and Chad Henry.
