Funeral services for Dahlia Mae Mills, 93, of Claremore, OK are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.

Mrs. Mills passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa. She was born March 1, 1931 at Franks, Oklahoma to Samuel Charles and Edith Leona Jones Cole.

Mrs. Mills was a Treasurer’s Assistant at the Creek County Treasurer’s Office until her retirement.

Survivors include a son, Karl Boone; brother, Vestel Cole; a granddaughter, Kristie Leon; and a great-granddaughter, Camila Leon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Edith Cole, her husband, Verbel Mills; son, Kent Boone; two sisters, Vada Marker and Olga Rhynes; and a niece, Nita Marker.

Bearers will be Karl Boone, Kenny Rhynes, George Rhodes and Tommy Whiteley.
