Services for Bobby L. Lewis, 76, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Lewis passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born March 21, 1939 at Ada to Walter M. and Ruth A. Brendle Lewis. He attended grade school at Glenwood and Irving and graduated from Ada High School in 1957. He attended Miami Dade College and Spartan School of Aeronautics.

Mr. Lewis was employed at Hazel Atlas Glass Company in his early working career. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1959 – 1979, being honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He was a Civil Servant at Homstead Air Force Base and later with Tinker Air Force for 19 years.

Survivors include his four aunts, Dorothy Brendle and Pat Jones, both of Ada, Nora Isaacs of Carlsbad, NM and Barbara Worley of Roswell, NM; and his cousins who lived in this area, Gary Brendle, Ronnie Brendle, Chuck Brendle, Charles Roberts, Lisa Young and Sue Brendle.

Bearers will be Gary Brendle, Ronnie Brendle, Chuck Brendle, David Young, David Young, II and Charles Roberts.
