Services for Minnie Lou King, 90, will be Wednesday, May 4th at 2 p.m. at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. King was born December 2, 1931 to Mulford Johnson, an original enrollee in the Chickasaw Nation and Minnie Horath Johnson. She went on to be with the Lord on April 25, 2022.
She was married to James King and he proceeded her in death in June, 1981. Mrs. King was a homemaker.
Survivors include Son, James King of Ft. McCoy, FL, her daughter in law Pam Johnson, 2 grandsons, Sonny Wolfenbarger and John Johnson of Ada, 3 granddaughters, Peggy Cockrill of Tulsa, Lonna Richardson and husband Terrance, Billie Johnson and significant other Christopher, all of Ada. Great grandchildren: Jessica Kinsey and fiancé’ Gage of Houston, TX, Ethan Johnson and significant other Trace, Erionna and Alston Andrews, Salara Johnson, Amanda and Drew Cockrill, Jazmine, Shakoda, Jeffery and Tyler Wolfenbarger, Great, great grandchildren: Elyas Johnson, Chevy and Jonathon Wolfenbarger all of ada. Her Sister Betty Alvarado and husband John of Sulphur and her brother Bobbie Johnson and wife Colleen of Ada. Dixie Ernst-Phillips, her niece and partner in all things Thrifty. Several other nieces and nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband James, 2 sons Lonnie and Dennis Johnson, 2 daughters, Joyce (BJ) King and Stephanie (Apache WhiteEagle) King, a granddaughter, Candy Wolfenbarger, a sister Shirley Jackson and brother in law Howard Jackson, a nephew Johnny Alvarado.
