Graveside services for Wanda Mae Kessinger, 94, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery. George Battey will officiate.

Mrs. Kessinger died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Ada Care Center. She was born August 23, 1921 in Charleston, West Virginia to Daniel and Verna Pinesman Pence. She attended school in West Virginia and graduated from South Charleston High School.

She married Clarence Kessinger November 1, 1937. He preceded her in death August 11, 2009. She and her family moved to Ada in 1946 from West Virginia. Mrs. Kessinger was a sales person and bookkeeper for Bevers and Dunn Hardware here in Ada for several years. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. She was a member of the Church since 1938, where her husband preached.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Brumley and her husband Kenneth of Ada; a son, Buddy Kessinger and his wife Sue of Ada; seven grandchildren, Wayne and Melissa Lee, Tammy and Mike Hall, Steve and Lindsey Kessinger, Kent and Lisa Barton, Chuck and Scarlett Barton, Keri and Bryan Newell and Stephen Barton; her nine great-grandchildren, Taylor and Steven Manuel, Keeli Kessinger, Jalen Newell, Carter Kessinger, Jentri Newell, Brady Barton, Jackson Barton, Lily Barton and Claira Spencer; one great-great-grandchild, Brylan Manuel; and one sister, Patty Lore, Charleston, WV.
