Graveside services for John Darrell Jones, 67, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.

Mr. Jones died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born November 11, 1947 in Okemah to Bethel and Elsie Grider Jones. He attended Bearden grade school and Ada Jr. and Sr. High Schools. He also attended East Central University.

He married Virginia “Ginger” Ingram December 22, 1968. Mr. Jones was a paint specialist and sales person for Motor Sales Company here in Ada. Later, he was a custom landscaper. Mr. Jones was a founding member of Grace Christian Fellowship. He served in the U. S. Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War in Taipei, Taiwan.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Ginger” Jones, of the home; daughter, Sabrina Crowell and husband Wayne, Ada; son, Zachary Jones, Ada; two grandchildren, Destiny Crowell and Kodie Jones; brother, Allen Jones and wife Doris, Minco; and sister, Judy Hallford and husband John, Sapulpa.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Cowboy Crisis Fund, P. O. Box 243, Fittstown, OK 74842.
