Services for Mary Sue Hopper, 90, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hopper passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at her home. She was born January 18, 1934 at Durant, Oklahoma to Odis and Dummie Stephens Carter.

She married Fred C. Hopper December 5, 1953. He preceded her in death August 23, 2023. Mrs. Hopper was a homemaker and co-owned Hopper Furniture with her husband Fred.

Survivors include two sons, Freddy E. Hopper and wife Stacy and Rusty Hopper and wife Cherie Jo; a son-in-law, Bruce Brents; one brother, Odie Carter; a sister, Cleda Foster; four grandchildren, Tiffany and Trey Logsdon and children, Conner and Ty; Taylor and Kristen Hopper and children, Willow and Izzy; Sarah Iverson and son Ruger; Katy and Blade Hood and children Lilly, Liam, Hadlee and Leighton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Cynthia Sue Brents; brothers, Jeff Carter, Edwin Carter and Billy Carter; and an infant sister, Faylene.

Bearers will be Cliff Randall, Layton Rutledge, Taylor Hopper, Trey Logsdon, Bruce Brents and Mike Chappell.
