Services for John Dale Haskins, 71, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Harold Holt and Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Haskins passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at a Oklahoma City hospital. He was born August 19, 1945 in Gotebo to George and Alta Fern Johnson Haskins. He graduated from Gotebo and received a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Oklahoma State University.

He married Paula Jean Nickerson June 29, 1990 in Ada. Mr. Haskins was a farmer, rancher and fisherman. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Paula, of the home; daughters, Shelly Thomas, Kelly Kyle and her husband Greg, and Sari Northcutt and her husband Bill; sons, Anthony Summers and his wife Kendra and John Nickerson and his wife Mona; grandchildren, Cameron, Madison, Ryan, Austin, Dillon, Kyle, Christina and Johnna; sisters, Pam Hildebrand and her husband Carlos and Sandy Bennelli and her husband Allan; extended family, Josh and Terri Savage, Tyler, Lily, Chano and Emma; nephews, Collins and Jake Hildebrand and Bryan Reed; mother-in-law, Joyce Summers and friend Jim Vogt; sister-in-law, Brenda Reed and her husband Mark.

Bearers will be John Hooser, Bubba Hines, Lee Bailey, Josh Savage, Robbie Black, Colt Broome, Shannon Thomas and David Hanks. Honorary Bearers will be Sterling Henley, Charles Carter, Wendall Raper, Johnny Hooser, Mark Reed and Charlie Forehand.
