Graveside services for Liona Sharlene Hanson, 78, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Bill Nelson will officiate.

Mrs. Hanson passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home. She was born December 20, 1937 at the family farm near Medford, OK to Charles Lloyd and Mary Liona Wilson Thomas. She graduated from Ada High School in 1955 and attended Oklahoma State University.

She married Paul Dean Hanson January 11, 1958 in Ada. He preceded her in death February 22, 1985. Mrs. Hanson was a secretary at various banks and schools and later she was employed with Wal-Mart in Ada as a Cashier.

Survivors include a daughter, Leslie Hamilton and her husband Kent of Ada; a son, Brian Hanson and his wife Juanita of Ada; and three grandchildren, Andrew Hamilton, Stormy and Jesse.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to PAWS, 1200 Sandy Creek Drive, Ada, OK 74820.
