Services for JoAnn Hamilton, 68, Fittstown, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church of Ada, the Rev. M.D. Bates will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hamilton died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born December 12, 1939 at Lizton, Indiana to Orville and Ruth Ragsdale Handcock. She came to this area in 1996 from Cloverdale, Indiana.

She married William “Bill” Hamilton on February 16, 1958 at Lizton, Indiana. She was a homemaker and an active member of the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Hamilton, of the home; three sons, William Bradley Hamilton and wife Emma L, Plainville, IN, William Allan Hamilton and wife Allison, Ada, and John Michael Hamilton and wife Lori Ann, Claremore, OK; five grandchildren; three sisters, LaVerne Castleman, Anderson, IN, Dorthea Jarrett, Lizton, IN, and Gloria McKinney, Advance, IN; and three brothers, Melvin Hancock and Charles Hancock, both of Indianapolis, IN, and Richard Hancock, Farmersville, LA.

Bearers will be David Houston, Don Beauchamp, Tommy Moore, Tim Bates, Rick Falkenberry, and Clayton Hamilton. Honorary bearer will be Jeff Hamilton.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Amercian Cancer Society, Oklahoma City Office, 6525 N. Meridian, Ste. 110, Oklahoma City, OK.
