Services for Barney Wallace Hall, 89, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Curt Bartmess will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Hall died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born December 15, 1919 at Ada, Oklahoma to Lee and Ada Ruth Hickson Hall. He lived in the Ada and Roff areas most of his life and attended Latta schools. He moved to Oklahoma City in the early 1990’s.

He married Ruby Lee Dempsey September 27, 1941 at Ada, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death May 28, 2005. Mr. Hall was a packer with Evergreen Mills Feed Company retiring after 32 years of service. He and his wife also owned and operated a café in Stratford for several years. Mr. Hall attended the Church of God in Ada.

Survivors include one son, Charles Hall and wife, Gail Blankenship, Vanoss; one daughter, Sandra Trench, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Charlotte, Randy, Stacy, Debbie, Dodd, Iran, and Holly; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Travis and Houston; and one great great granddaughter, Serenity Faye Laughlin.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Bearers will be Charles Hall, Chris Laughlin, Rick Knapp, Bob Hatcher, Ron Dempsey and Kevin Dempsey.
