Services for Bruce Leon Griffin, Sr., 68, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Earl Hood and Cord Fowler will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Griffin passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at an Ada hospital. He was born October 9, 1947 in Sulphur to Harold L. and Mary Ellen Wood Griffin. He attended Stratford grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.

He married Judy Annette Roberts May 2, 1975 in Ada. Mr. Griffin formerly was employed with Booth Oil Company and retired from Holcim Cement Plant in 1988. He attended Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; a son, Bruce L. Griffin, Jr. of Ada; daughter, Brandy Griffin and her fiancé, Jeremy Neal of Ada; daughter, Angela Jackson and husband Shane, Allen; five grandchildren, Zac Dansby and his fiancé, Patience Young, Bryce Haynes and his fiancé, Autumn Johnston, Baleigh Scout Griffin, and Tyler Jarrett and wife Kayla and Tanner Jarrett; a great-grandson, Bryson Jarrett; three sisters, Brenda McBee and husband Joe, McAlester, Marsha Collins and husband Donnie, Ardmore and Gayla Goodman and husband Jerry, Ada; a brother, Mickey Griffin and wife Becky, Ada; one brother-in-law, Tony Roberts and wife Ann, Ada; sister-in-law, Kaye Fowler and husband Bob, Yukon; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Bearers will be Lonnie Long, Roger Reeves, Chris McKinney, Sean Lackey, Jeremy Neal, James Don Henderson, Larry Muck, and Joe Magby.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718; or the American Heart Association, 5700 N. Portland, Ste. 203, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
