Services for James Harvey “Jimmy” Green, 72, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Green died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born March 31, 1942 in Ada to Clifford A. and Marjorie Jean McCauley Green. He graduated from high school and received an Associate’s Degree from Wilburton Junior College and later attended Oklahoma State University.

He married Jolene Archer on July 17, 1972. Mr. Green was employed in the box shop at Brockway Glass Company until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada, a Mason and also a Shriner. He had also served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene Green, of the home; three children, Brenda Gill and husband Gary of Tulsa, and Linda Simon-Perkins and Brendan Green, both of Ada; two sisters, Jerri Bradley and husband David of Ada, and Jeanie Asbury of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Chris Roberts, Erica Thissell, Brad Roberts, Shane Green, Megan Green, Jeffrey Green, Tyler Green and Lanie Green; his great-grandchildren, Kiley Roberts, Lauralie Davidson, Bailey Roberts, Braxton Roberts and Blade Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Janie Carol Green.
