Services for Glenda Kay Gonderman, 60, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Caldwell will officiate.
Ms. Gonderman passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 17, 1961 to Billy Glyn and Barbara Sue Bryant Caldwell. She graduated from Ada High School in 1979, where she was a member of the Ada High Couganns dance team.
Ms. Gonderman was employed at the Pontotoc County Election Board since September 2019. She previously served as the Pontotoc County Treasurer from 2004 to 2017 when she retired from that position to spend time with her family. She began working in the treasurer’s office in 1985 and devoted more than three decades of service to the people of Pontotoc County. She served as the secretary and treasurer of the Southeast District County Officers and Deputies Association (CODA) from 2005 to 2017.
Ms. Gonderman was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Ada, Oklahoma. Her devotion to her faith made an impact on many who knew her. She was kind and generous with a loving spirit. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors are her mother, Barbara Caldwell, of Ada; one son, Garrett Gonderman and wife Elizabeth, of Ada; two daughters, Tara Ray, of Purcell and Holly Clouse and husband Jacob, of Springfield, MO; one brother, Gary Caldwell and wife Anita, of Eufaula; one sister, Debbie Carter and husband Johnny, of Ada; five grandchildren, Carlee Eaton, Rayce Forbis, Conner Ray, Oliver Gonderman and Ruby Gonderman; significant other, Chuck Counts, of Francis; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers are Garrett Gonderman, Rayce Forbis, Conner Ray, Jacob Clouse and Chuck Counts.
