Graveside services for Ethel Frazier, 83, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Ronnie Amous will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Frazier passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born February 15, 1937 at Ada to Moman and Mabel Galbert Frazier. She attended Ada grade school and graduated from Napier High School in 1955. She graduated from Valley View Hospital’s School of Nursing as an LPN in 1958. Ethel earned a B. A. in Home Economics with minors in Sociology and Anthropology from East Central University in 1977. She also earned a M.Ed in Guidance and counseling from East Central University in 1980. Ethel worked at Valley View Hospital in Ada and St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City for 35 years. She worked in nursing for 50 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Frazier, Oklahoma City; grandson, Nicholas Frazier, Oklahoma City; four brothers, Amos Miles, Oakland, CA, Edgar Frazier (Doris), Spencer, Roy Frazier, Ada, Ray Frazier, Tulsa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Colbert; and a brother, Charles Miller.

Bearers will be Nicholas Frazier, Gregory Colbert, Rodney Grant, Edgar Frazier, Jr., David James, Jr., Reggie Frazier, William Franklin, Jr., Shawn Wills and Maurice Clark. Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
