Services for Richard Dale “Rick” Fowler, 67, of Roff are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Fowler passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was born February 13, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma to Don and Vallie Sneed Fowler. He graduated from high school in Martha, Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy.

He married Joni Freeland on October 30, 1981. He and his family moved to Ada in 1993 from Dallas, TX. Mr. Fowler was a Respiratory Therapist and a Cardio-Pulmonary Physiologist and a rancher. He attended Fitzhugh Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Joni, of the home; a son, Casey Don Fowler and wife Mandee, Ada; a daughter, Jamie Stovall and husband Nicholas, Ada; one sister, Donna Jones and husband Don, Norman; three grandchildren, Colby Fowler, Kelby Andrew Stovall and Mason Dale Fowler; his mother-in-law, Nina Moffitt, Ada; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Vallie Fowler; a brother, Ronnie Fowler; a nephew, Connor Fitzpatrick; and his father-in-law, Levi Freeland.

Bearers will be Larry Fitzpatrick, Sean Fitzpatrick, Tom Moore, Greg Lucas, Larry Weber and Justin Witt. Honorary bearer will be Don Jones.
