Services for Ronald James Clarke, 53, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross and Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Clarke passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born November 13, 1963 in Chicago, IL to Donald and Helen Rosa Karl Clarke. He graduated from Tupelo High School.

He married Myrtie Calhoun June 10, 1996. Mr. Clarke was a truck driver for Jennings Stone of Fittstown. Mr. Clarke served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1982 – 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtie, of the home; his son, Travis Parks and Jason Parks of Oklahoma City; his daughters, Jennifer Thompson and husband Nik of Tulsa, Christi Sayre of Ada and Tammy Brasier and husband Scott of Noble; his father, Donald Clarke of Ada; his grandchildren, Robbi Dawn Lee and her fiancé, Aaron of Norman, Stormy Sayre and CeCe Sayre, both of Ada, and Aiden Thompson of Tulsa; his siblings, Michael Clarke of Nebraska, Donald Clarke, Jr. of Ada, Deborah Isom of Ada, Timiethy Clarke and wife Angela of Ada and Shawn Clarke of Denver, CO; and his honorary family, the Parker family of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Karl Clarke.

Bearers will be Jeff Cool, Tony Cook, Rafe Murray, Rod Calhoun, Steven Calhoun, Brett Sayre, Aaron Moore and Scott Brasier. Honorary bearers will be Don Brasier, Don Matthews, Randy Jennings, Greg Logue, Robby Lee, Parkers, Co-workers at Jennings Stone, The Clarke Brothers and nephew.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Heart Research, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104-5097.
