Services for Betty Sue Brown, 82, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mrs. Brown passed away with her loving husband of 43 years at her side on January 24, 2025, in Canyon Lake, TX. She was born November 19, 1942, in Ada to Roy Thurman and Marie Armstrong Bottoms.
Mrs. Brown was the Deputy County Assessor for the Pontotoc County Assessors office until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Brown of the home; two sons, Dell Walker and wife Kim and Dave Brown and wife Danielle; daughter, Kim Miller and husband Bryan; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Vona Ray Bottoms and Johnny Bottoms; and two sisters, Wanda Faye Hilburn and Mary Thomas.
Bearers are Addison Woodward, Kevin Trowbridge, Devan Barger, Brad Walker, Kristian Walker, Bryan Miller Jr., Zak Miller, and Dustin Norman.
