Services for Edna Marie Brewer, 91, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Brewer died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in a local nursing home. She was born September 13, 1924 in Bailey, Texas to Samuel Nathaniel and Vernie Morgan Segler.

She married Lloyd Eugene Brewer January 27, 1940. He preceded her in death March 9, 1994. Mrs. Brewer was a nurse’s aide at McCall’s Chapel. She was a member of the Homer Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Mark Brewer of Stonewall; two sisters, Helen Vitale of Ada and Billie Polyak of Lake Elsinore, CA; five grandchildren, LaDana Tharp of Mustang, Shawn Brewer and wife Bobbie of Norman, Windy Rinehart and husband Cory of Mustang, Dixie Brewer of Stonewall and Dustin Brewer of Oklahoma City; numerous great-grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Michael Eugene Brewer; a great grandson, Clint Rinehart; a brother, Ernest Segler; and sisters, Clara Sires, Dora Segler and Effie James.

Bearers will be Dewey McDonald, Glen Walker, Taylor Black, Billy Huffman, Shawn Brewer and Darrell Brewer.

The family says those who wish may make memorial donations to St. Jude Childrens Research; 501 St Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
