Services for Loretta Mae Blankenship, 80, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Darrel Blankenship and Justin Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery .
Mrs. Blankenship died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at a local hospital. She was born May 1, 1928, at Ada to Walter Robert and Minnie Frances Noel Owens.
She attended schools in Byng, Oakman and Chino, Calif.
She married Arvil Wayne Blankenship Oct. 8, 1971, at Ada.
Mrs. Blankenship formerly worked at the snack counter for Woolworth for 21 years, T.G.&Y; for five years and retired as a checker for Abbott Grocery Store after 13 years of service. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arvil Blankenship, of the home; a daughter, Brenda Stallings and husband Scott, Byng; three stepsons, Larry Blankenship and wife Beverly, Pauls Valley, the Rev. Darrel Blankenship and wife Sharon, Crystal Springs, Miss., and Terry Blankenship and wife Mary, Stratford; a special daughter, Charla Priest, Ada; one brother, Glen Owens, Ada; nine grandchildren, Evan Stallings, Felicia Stallings, Lisa Blankenship, Craig Blankenship, Justin Blankenship, Billy Blankenship, Eric Blankenship, Jeffrey Blankenship, and Maronda Fuqua; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Irene Owens, and a brother Raymond Owens.
Bearers will be Michael McElroy, Bart McNeil, Ken Butler, Billy Blankenship, Eric Blankenship, and Jeffrey Blankenship.
