Graveside services for Rhonda Claudette Arter, 59, of Yukon were held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Rodger Arter officiated.

Ms. Arter died Friday, September 23, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born January 18, 1957 in Ada to Claude W. and Christeen Bowers Arter. She graduated from Latta High School.

She graduated from East Central University with two degrees, the first in 1979 and the second in 1994. Ms. Arter was employed in Medical Records with Valley View Hospital and later as a Medical Record Supervisor with Muskogee Regional Medical Center where she retired. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Muskogee.

Survivors include her cousins, Margaret Stephens, Shirley Mann, Denna Gordon and Rodger Arter of Ada, Donna Akins of Comanche, Ok, Linda Daffern of Tupelo, Katie Sue Bowers of Mississippi, John Arter of Jefferson City, Mo, Jaqueta Keithley of Texas, Melanie Moore of Yukon, Ok, Neva Jo Stewart and Billy Bowers of Broken Arrow, Ok.
