Services for Curtis Leon Abbott, 71, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mike Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Abbott passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at an Ada hospital. He was born April 25, 1944 in Ada to Lester and Mary Dunham Abbott. He attended Washington grade school and graduated from Ada High School.

He married Dorothy Sue “Suzi” Chapman April 14, 1978. Mr. Abbott was a Journeyman Maintenance Man at Brockway Glass Company in Ada for 24 years. Later, he was employed with Fairmont Minerals (Technisand) in Roff, retiring in 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Suzi of the home; three daughters, Pamela Jeffrey and husband Sean of Anna, TX, Brenda Pasquali and Joe of Coalgate and Cynthia Ann Abbott of Ada; a brother, James Abbott and wife Jan of Ada; and three grandchildren, Reigny Lynn Jeffrey, Sutton Taylor Morris and Grayson Curtis Morris.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Abbott; his mother, Mary Abbott Golden; a sister, Evelyn Sanders; brother, Douglas Abbott; and a grandson, Joshua Curtis Murray. Bearers will be Joe Murray, Joe Pasquali, Sean Jeffrey, Chris Holland, James Myers and Ricky Holland.
